Self titled album John Wizard is funk, electronica, happy dappy afropop & It is debuted by South African John Withers on his travels. Word on the street is that his day job is writing jingles for commercials whilst he travels around and makes musical magic for his own pleasures {and all of ours} Although he has some vocal input by Emmanuel Nzaramba-a Rwandan refugee- everything else is all Withers. I can honestly say this album is top of 2013, and possibly of 14. Check out his self titled album with the opening track of Tek Lek Schrempf thats has wicked piano riffs and then soars straight into 80s'-esc geetair licks. If you close your eyes whilst listening to it, you may be convinced your riding a unicorn.
